Of late, the giant in film production and distribution called Fox Star seems to be coming out with its own monopoly. This has kept many of the screens based in Delhi and UP go against the company by not showcasing their recently released film Baaghi in the said regions. They were seen re-releasing the films Marjaavaan and Jumanji: The Next Level rather than releasing Baaghi 3 despite bearing the loss for losing yet another massy movie this week. Well, you need to check out the reason why they have done so to teach Fox Star a lesson.
Both the films Baaghi 3 and Laxmmi Bomb are coming under the banner of Fox Star Studios. And as per the sources, the company has put forth some conditions before the exhibitors of Delhi and UP states saying to give preference to Laxmmi Bomb rather than the other film Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai releasing on the same date on the eve of Eid. As per reports, the company wants them to allocate daily four shows to Laxmmi Bomb rather giving enough space to Salman Khan film which is also a massy movie. However, the exhibitors of Delhi and UP have rejected this idea.
They decided not to show the film Baaghi 3 despite the loss as they want to keep the message loud and clear. They claimed that they would not showcase their film Laxmmi Bomb as they have the option of running Radhe for all the shows. They feel that Fox Star is trying to blackmail them hence they even decided not to show the film Baaghi 3 before the audience of UP and Delhi despite facing the losses. Now, they have decided that they will not show Laxmmi Bomb for the very reason.
As per reports, only when the Fox Star Studios will take back this condition then only they would think of it. They went on saying that they are fine to see their Holi festival getting ruined with not showcasing Baaghi 3, but they will continue this and will ruin their Eid now. The film Laxmmi Bomb has Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, and it happens to be the remake of a South Indian film called Kanchana, while Radhe: Your Wanted Bhai has Salman Khan and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film is directed by South Indian filmmaker and choreographer Prabhu Dheva. Both the films are releasing on 22nd May on the eve of Eid.
