With a smashing start on the first day, the Ayushamann Khurrana seems to be going great guns at the box office. The film bagged 9.55 Crores on the first day making the film the third biggest opener for the actor Ayushmman in the B Town. Collection around 9.55 Crores at the box office, the film has given a very good start despite the taboo issue it covers in it. Despite having the non conventional issue, the makers left no stone unturned to promote the film for the family audience. Despite the film’s theme having certain limitations, the film performed much better at the box office.
Lately, the actor has gotten into the habit of giving decent collection films. All his previous films released last year have done well. In the case of Bala, his last film released in November 2019, it scored 10.15 Crores on Day one despite a similar film having somewhere resembling a story had released earlier. Similarly, his other film Dream Girl too had a good buzz in the media scoring 10.05 Crores at the box office. The experts were expecting more than ten crores collection at the box office with the previous two films. Perhaps the subject could have deterred us from reaching this milestone.
Despite the partial holiday on Friday, the film did not cross the double digit mark. The film seemed to have come up with a lesser number. The first big leap that came was to maintain the same collections on Saturday as on Friday. Although ideally speaking the concept based movies seemed to have grown a good way on this Saturday and this theme seems to have gone up in a nice way. Also, coming after the partial holiday, the film is likely to grow on the first Sunday for the complete holiday. Well, let’s see how things would move but if things would go smooth, it is likely to earn around 35 to 40 crores on the first weekend.
